The Williams News, Williams, Arizona Tuesday, August 04, 2009 Wray David Wilson passed away unexpectedly July 28, 2009. Wray was born in Durango, Colo. on November 3, 1964 to Tora Moody and John Wilson. He is survived by his mother, father, stepmother Carol Wilson, stepfather Laird Moody, sister Renee Wilson, brother Ryan Wilson, nieces Tiffany and Rory Wilson, stepbrothers Chris and Eddie Weil, stepsisters Kristine Short, Katie and Anne Harris. Also surviving are uncles Ted, Dan and Gilbert Roper, James Wilson and aunts Susan Ulik and Julie Fisher, and by his grandparents, Liddi and Ben Wilson, and Nola Roper. Wray will be remembered with love for his kind and good nature and for his ability to quickly make new and lasting friends. He was a brain tumor survivor and a fighter. He loved his family and always kept us near regardless of where he lived. He followed sports ardently and was an avid fisherman. Wray was plagued by severe headaches and misguided thoughts of persecution. He sometimes unintentionally disrupted his family and neighbors, but he was a gentle soul and a generous friend. Wray was much loved by his friends. The family will celebrate Wray's life at his home, Saturday, August 8th and 6:30 pm.
