Cynthia Lou (Cindy Lou) Ogilvie

Cynthia Lou (Cindy) Ogilvie, 57, of Gisela, Ariz., passed away at her home on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009.

Cyndi was born in Red Bluff, Calif. on May 27, 1951 and came to Flagstaff in 1972 where she was an escrow officer at Minnesota Title for many years. Always a free spirit she traveled widely and gathered a large family of friends.

In 1984 she settled in Williams to open a barbecue restaurant on westbound Route 66 and later worked for the state of Arizona, first in Bellemont and then for the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind in Flagstaff. She liked to cook, read, play scrabble, entertain friends and greatly enjoyed her pets.

Cyndi is survived by her mother, Charlene Ogilvie; brother, Bruce Ogilvie; and sisters, Deena Blevins and Laura Gilson and her companion, Rick Bailey.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday afternoon, June 6, 2009 at Buckskinner Lake in Williams.
