Odelia Quesada Estrada, 59, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside after a long battle with diabetes March 31, 2003. She was born in Ray, AZ, on July 18, 1942, and lived her life with her husband in the Hayden-Winkelman area. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish and was a homemaker; loved cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren. An avid sports fanatic, she followed her kids and grandchildren to every sporting event they participated in. She enjoyed her hobbies of ceramics, sewing and listening to music. A loving wife, she was especially proud of her children’s accomplishments and her pride and joy were he eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Secundino; mother, Esperanza and brother, Seco, Jr. Survivors include her loving husband, Joe "Husie;" children, Junie (Lucy), Johnny (Jena), Laura (Chito), Sarah (Ricardo); brothers, Joey (Anna), Fito (Vicky); sister, Vivian (Joe); eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation was held Thursday, April 3, at St. Joseph’s Parish of the Catholic Church followed by a Rosary. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Dale Branson, Friday, April 4. She was preceded in death by her dad, Secundino and mom, Esperanza, brother, Seco Jr. She is survived by her loving husband Joe "Husie", children, Junie (Lucy), Johnny (Jena), Laura (Chito), Sarah (Ricardo), brothers; Joey (Anna), Fito (Vicky), sister Vivian (Joe) and numerous loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3 at St. Joseph's Parish of the Catholic Church, 300 Mountain View Drive, Hayden. The visitation will be followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Dale Branson at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 4.
