The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 07/23/2003 John Skeels, 30, died July 21, 2003 in Snowflake. He was born in Merced, California and was raised in Stockton. There he attended elementary and high school, after high school he went into construction work with his father and became a cement finisher. John came to Taylor with his family three years ago. He enjoyed his work and in his spare time he enjoyed watching the Nascar races. He lived off Paper Mill Road in Taylor and acquired some farm animals, which he really enjoyed caring for. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Geraldine Skeels of Taylor; one son, John Alexander; two daughters, Salina and Marisa Skeels all of Stockton, California; one sister, Teresa Skeels of Taylor; his grandparents, George and Lucy Armstrong of Merced, California, and Jose and Helen Huerta of Lathrop, California; two nephews, Rudy Macias and Alexander Prado. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Friday, July 25 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Snowflake. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements. See Also: Find A Grave |
