The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 06/03/2005 Salio Francis Adley, 35, died Saturday, May 28, 2005 in Whiteriver. He was born in Whiteriver, the first son of Ricardo and Rose Adley. Salio was half Apache and half Navajo. He attended school at Toyei Preschool and Whitecone. He then attended school in Whiteriver and Seven Mile. Salio then attended school in Grand Junction, Colorado where he graduated. Following High School he enlisted in the Navy and attended basic training in San Diego, after basic training Salio was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Following his Navy service, he returned to Whiteriver and worked with family members in construction. Salio is survived by his companion, Darlene Baha of Whiteriver; mother, Rose Adley of Whiteriver; sisters, Bettina Adley-Lupe, Richanda Adley, Brandi Jackson all of Whiteriver; brother, Carlo Adley of Glendale; maternal grandmother, Nettie B. Nez of Whitecone; paternal grandparents, Jones and Geraldine Adley of Whiteriver; six nieces and six nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6 at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Whiteriver. A two-day wake will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4 in Whiteriver. Interment will be in the Ft. Apache Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
