| LOW MOUNTAIN — Funeral services for Andy Bennett Yazzie, 33, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, at Jeddito Assembly of God, Jeddito. The Rev. Emery Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Jeddito Community Cemetery. Bennett died March 24, 2009, in Chinle. He was born Oct. 15, 1975, in Keams Canyon, into the Towering House People Clan for the Deer Springs People Clan. Yazzie attended Low Mountain Boarding School, Chinle Boarding School, Many Farms High School, Navajo Technical College and University of New Mexico. Survivors include his daughter, Brianna Yazzie; mother, Ella Bennett Yazzie; brother, Michael Chee; sisters, Darlene Chee, Marena Hasgood, Marlene Benally, Lily Tsosie, Diane Chee, Virginia Chee, Martha Chee, Melinda Yazzie, Calinda Yazzie. Yazzie was preceded in death by his father, Hosteen Yazzie. Pallbearers will be Nate Begay, Calvin Martinez, Billison Kee, Deswood Tsosie, Roger George. The family will receive relatives and friends at Low Mountain NHA #Z and the family will meet at Jeddito Assembly of God Church, following services.
