The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 01/16/2004 (January 4, 1980 - January 8, 2004) Robert Pacheco, Jr., 24, died Jan. 8, 2004 in Tucson. Junior was born in California and his family moved to Hondah when he was just a year old. He loved to sing, dance, and play basketball. Junior could also imitate people well, and was a great entertainer. He started his school years in McNary, and spent part of his high school years at Alchesay High School, and at Blue Ridge High School. Junior had a son, Juan that he was very proud of an loved very much. Junior will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his father, Robert Pacheco, Sr., of Lakeside; sister, Samantha; companion, Elizabeth Riley; son, Juan Christopher Pacheco; one niece, nephew; maternal grandfather, Andrew Kinney, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Rose Pacheco; nine uncles, eight aunts, and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Marie Kinney; grandmother, Edith Kinney; and grandfather, Juan Pacheco. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16 at the McNary Gym, with a wake beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hondah. Interment will be in the Cooley Mountain Cemetery.
