Black's Mortuary Show Low, Arizona Virginia K. Gloshay (October 28, 1935 - February 20, 2008) Virginia K. Gloshay, 72, of Whiteriver, passed away Wednesday, February 20th, at Flagstaff Medical Center. Virginia was born October 28, 1935, at Whiteriver, the daughter of Clarence and Gertrude (Kasey) Kessay. She attended Theodore Roosevelt School at Fort Apache. She was married to Buddy Gloshay at age 16, She was a homemaker and seamstress, having won many ribbons for her sewing. She was known by her family for the wonderful bread that she baked. She worked in the dietary department of the USPHS Hospital at Whiteriver for 29 years. She was always helping other people and very much loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Gloshay of McNary; a son, Eddie Gloshay, Sr. of Whiteriver; seven grandchildren; a sister, Freda Quay of Whiteriver; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Loise Kessay and Nellie Ethelbah, brothers Henry Kessay, Sr., Sam Kessay and Johnathan Kessay. A wake will begin at 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 29th at her residence, 702 N. 2nd Avenue, Whiteriver. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, March 2nd at the North Fork Miracle Church with Pastor Preston Kessey officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Dale Cemetery. See Also: Find A Grave |
