(Aug. 24, 1914 - Aug. 11, 2001) LOWER GREASEWOOD, Ariz. — Services for Richard Phillip Kinlicheeny, 87, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at the Catholic Church, Lower Greasewood. Father Flann will officiate. Burial will follow at Community Cemetery, Lower Greasewood. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Fort Defiance Catholic Church. Kinlicheeny died Aug. 11 in Gallup. He was born Aug. 24, 1914, in Sunrise, Ariz., into the People for Red House Clan. Kinlicheeny attended St. Michaels Indian School and St. Catherine's Indian School in Santa Fe. He was employed as a boiler operator for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, a treasurer for the Native American Church and a N.A.C. Roadman. Survivors include sons, Bernard Kinlicheeny, Ambrose F. Kinlicheeny Sr. and Benjamin B. Kinlicheeny; daughter, Patricia K. Paul; sisters, Jeanette Kinlicheeny, Elizabeth Kinlicheeny and Sylvia Dale; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Kinlicheeny was preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette D. Kinlicheeny; son, George Kinlicheeny; and daughter, Angela Kinlicheeny. Pallbearers will be Richard Paul, Christopher Kinlicheeny, Harry Wilson, Frederick Paul, Benjamin Kinlicheeny, Ambrose F. Kinlicheeny and Bernard Kinlicheeny.
