The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 06/05/2009 Virginia Lee Brewer, 71, of Taylor died June, 2, 2009, in Taylor. She was born Sept. 14, 1937, to Ralph Evert John Beaman and Jenny Beatrice Patterson Beaman in Phoenix. She married Larry Lee Brewer in the Mesa Temple May 20, 1954. They are the parents of four children. Virginia was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was 12 years-old and has been an active member of the Church for the rest of her life. She has held many church callings throughout her life and has been a relief society and primary president several times. She was also a temple worker in the Portland, Ore. Temple. She loved to sing and was an avid quilter. Another of her favorite things was feeding the many songbirds that came to her yard. She is survived by her husband, Larry Lee Brewer of Taylor; two sons, Danny Paul (Patricia Ann Keller) Brewer of Sweet Home, Ore., Jody Michael Brewer of Brownsville, Ore. and two daughters, Larrine (David Allen) Pedersen, Kelso,Wash. and Nola Jane (Richard Lee) Garvin of Taylor. She also leaves 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and two older sisters Ruby Evelyn Wright of Glendale and Marie Blanch Parker of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Evert John Beaman, mother Jenny Beatrice Patterson Beaman and sister Josephine (Josie) Mabel Beaman Green. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taylor Stake Center, 300 W. Willow, Saturday June 6, with a viewing at 9 a.m., funeral starts at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Pinedale Cemetery. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled arrangements.
