The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 03/14/2006 Sandra Lorraine Crookston, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, died at her home in Pinedale March 9, 2006. She was born May 14, 1947 in Boulder, Colorado to Percy and Mary Fitz Brown. She was married in the Mesa, LDS Arizona Temple Aug. 22, 1972 to her eternal companion, Paul Douglas Crookston. She graduated in 1972 from Brigham Young University with a degree in family history. She is survived by her husband, Paul; nine children: Jonathon (Kristi), David (Katy), Benjamin (Kori), Daniel (Amanda), Elizabeth (Scott Lamb), Timothy, Mary, Rachel, and Sarah; and her grandchildren: Elise, Ian, William, Makenzie, Jaden, Samuel, Calvin, Kai, and Carson. She is also survived by five siblings: Henry, Louise, Gayle, James, and Ruth. She will forever be remembered for her goodness, humility, selflessness, and love for genealogy. Funeral services will be held at Pinedale-Clay Springs Chapel in Pinedale March 13 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to Sandra Crookston Memorial Fund at Bank of America (account No. 4375279915) to help defray medical costs.
