The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 10/18/2005 Norma Joyce Porterfield, 76, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, in Phoenix. She was born in Carthage, Missouri. The family lived in various Missouri and Illinois communities before coming to Arizona over sixty years ago. Mrs. Porterfield has lived most of her life in Phoenix. During WWII she worked for International Metals, which produced metal parts for the War. Most of all she was a homemaker and she loved caring for her family and friends. She love quilting and crocheting and sewing her own clothes. She will always be remembered as a true Christian. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Joyce Mollenhauer of Pinedale; two grandchildren, Tonya Nelson and Brandi Mollenhauer; one brother, Glen Pannell of Idaho; and one sister, Wanda Ford of Peoria, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burt Porterfield in 2001, a grandson, Robert Frederick Mollenhauer, III, two sisters and one brother. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the Pinedale Cemetery with Bishop Danny Crandell officiating. See Also: Find A Grave |
