Donna May Petersen, 63, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005 in Phoenix.

She was born in 1941 in Shumway to Samuel Allen and Wilma Millet Neff. In 1969 she married Foch Petersen. Donna was a gardener and was an expert tomato grower; neighbors couldn't wait for her tomatoes to ripen. She was an avid genealogist. However, her greatest joys and pleasures in life came from being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her children, Kevin F. (Jolene) Petersen of Queen Creek, James Samuel Petersen of Show Low, Julie (Brian) Seavey of Mesa, Sonja (George) Rasband of Spanish Fork, Utah; Anna Marie (Aerol) Greuwell of South Dakota; Paula (Ed) Smith of Gilbert; Lynette (James) Shelley of Kanab, Utah; Danny (Jeannie) Petersen of Kanab, Utah; 29 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Edie (Frank) Cluff, Janet (Kenneth) Penrod, Wilma (Carl) Reinhold all of Shumway, Dixie (Bob) Putz of Casa Grande and Sandy (Oliver) Nielsen of Springville, Utah; brothers, Alan (Ann) Neff, Billy (Barbara) Neff, Bob (Merilee) Neff all of Shumway, Harmon (Nadine) Neff, Keith (Mary) Neff both of Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Neff in 2003.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Pinedale Clay Springs Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Interment will be in the Pinedale Cemetery.
