Hannelore Emma "Oma" Jamison, 83, died at her home Sept. 29, 2003.

She was born Nov. 1, 1919 in Coburg, Germany where she grew up and became a teacher of Home Economics. Oma moved to the United States in 1952 and became a citizen in 1966. She moved to Arizona in 1968 and worked as a nutritionist for the Pima County Health Department's WIC program. Oma loved to help others. She retired in Tucson in 1990, and lived full time in Show Low for the past three years and attended White Mountain Bible Church when she could. Oma loved the Lord. She was loved and will be missed by all.

Oma is survived by her three children, James P and Laura Jamison, Laurie K. and Jeff Harrison, and Susan J. Cheney; and five grandchildren, Ben, Kelly, Jonny, Paige and Alexis.

Grave side services will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 at noon at the Pinedale Cemetery.

Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
