Jeannette Frances Ruddy, 65, died at home in Linden Friday, Feb. 28, 2003.

Jeannette was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Arizona when she was 16. She married "Chuck" Ruddy in 1958 in Phoenix and together raised four children. They moved to Show Low in 1967 where they made their home. She served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Relief Society in various positions for several years, including eight as president. She was a loving mother and gave her whole life to her children, family and all others in need of her help. Her compassion for others came natural. Jeannette loved to draw and paint. She enjoyed her time spent with photography as well. She also enjoyed skiing, when she was able to. Most of all, her home, family and church meant the most to her.

Jeannette is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Ruddy; two sons, Bret of Pinetop and Brian of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Lisa and her husband Johnny Walker of Show Low and Beth of Phoenix; her mother, Frances Clouser; two brothers, Glenn and Steven; three sisters, Diane, Merrily and Wendy; and four grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 4 from 6-9 at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at the Pinedale Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a viewing one hour prior.

Interment will be in the Pinedale Cemetery.
