| Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery Tucson, Arizona - August 29, 2009 Josephine Comeratta Bernatowicz, of Tucson, recently from Waterford, MI passed away August 27, 2009. She was born In Ernest, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Cologiera) Comeratta. Later her family moved to Bronx, NY. In 1952 her life took a dramatic change when she moved her family to Michigan where she has lived until last month at which time she moved to Tucson. Her whole life was devoted to raising her beloved children. She worked long hours so that they could have the best that she could provide. She loved her grandchildren and had a great respect for nature. She was most interested in following the activities and stars of Hollywood. She was the beloved mother of Joseph J. (Mary S.) Barrios of Tucson, and Mildred P. (Joseph) Grochowski of Clinton Township, MI; Grandchildren, Pamela Kruckenberg, Joseph Grochowski, Suzanne (Walter) Loebl and Amy Grochowski. She leaves six great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; nephews and niece, Joseph Krill, Vincent Krill and Louise DeMarco of New York. A Graveside Service Saturday, August 29 in Holy Hope Cemetery, Tucson. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Josephine's name to a church or charity of one's choice. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
