Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery Tucson, Arizona - May 19, 2009 (July 2, 1928 - May 15, 2009) Leonard Reed Fletcher, 1928 to 2009, passed away on May 15, 2009. Preceded in death by wife, Betty M. Fletcher. Survived by daughter, Donna Darlene Garland of Texas, son Kenton Reed Fletcher of Oracle, AZ; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren Born in Lewis County, West Virginia at his grandfather's home on Mc Canns Run. The only child of Ralph R. Fletcher and Bertie Reed Fletcher. Attended Lightburn Grade School and Jane Lew High School, graduating in 1946. Self employed in the trucking business. Married first time December 20, 1946. From this marriage, two children were born. Moved to Tucson, AZ November 1952. Divorced September 1960. Married second time to Betty Marie Mullersman June 1, 1962. Worked at the copper mines from November 4, 1952 to April 1, 1986. Retired as mine production general superintendent from Duval Sierrita Corporation/Pennzoil. Chapel service, Thursday, May 21, 2009 , 11:00 A.M., EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
