| The Arizona Daily Sun Flagstaff, Arizona Friday, October 02, 2009 Joe Villa, 83, formerly of Williams, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in Needles, Calif. Mr. Villa was born Jan. 13, 1926, in Williams to Emilio and Heladia Villa. He lived his early adult life in Williams before moving to Marlow, Okla. While in Williams, he was employed at the U.S. Army Depot in Bellemont and at the Thunderbird Motel. Mr. Villa moved to Needles in 2001 to be with his family. Mr. Villa is survived by sisters Delores Reyes and Bobbie Michelena; brothers Emilio Villa Jr. and Frankie Villa; daughters Esther Olague, Adela Owensby, Helen Hesse and Michelle McConnell; son Tim Denton; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Evelyn Villa. Burial was in Marlow, Okla. A memorial service will be Saturday at noon at the American Legion Post 13, 425 W. Grant St., in Williams.
