Robert Anthony Powers was born January 23, 1879 in San Francisco, CA. He died March 9, 1934 in Bisbee, Cochise, AZ.

Robert A. Powers, Southern Pacific freight train conductor who was fatally injured near Bisbee Junction when his right leg was cut off by the wheels of a freight train, following the accident. Two blood transfusions from his son failed to save his life.

Services were conducted from St. Stephen's Episcopal church in Douglas.

Powers died at the Copper Queen hospital. He lived in Gilbert, AZ.
