Rites Set For Walter Myers Spanish-American War Vet
Services for Walter M. Myers, a veteran of the Spanish-American War, will be tomorrow in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback.

Mr. Myers was a resident of Prescott and Phoenix 26 years until moving recently to Matoon, Illinois, where he died Tuesday. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars here and had resided at 1211 N. 27th Lane before moving to Illinois to live with a son.

Survivors include three sons, Alfred of Phoenix, Lawrence of Charleston, Illinois, and Russell of Safford; a daughter, Mrs. E. C. Waltrip of Batesville, Arkansas; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the mortuary from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery.
