WILSON, Jack Paul
Jack Paul Wilson was born on November 29th, 1937 in Floyd County Kentucky and passed from life on September 15th, 2001 in Mesa Arizona.

He worked in the construction industry for 40 plus years, physically working on everything from houses in Indiana to dams in Arizona. He supervised the overall construction of numerous shopping malls, factories and office buildings in Michigan, California, Arizona and Florida as well as an oil pipeline pumping station in Alaska and high-rise buildings in Iran.

While these are great physical accomplishments he will best be remembered for the diginity and respect with which he treated the people he worked with and those that worked under his supervision. He took great pride in dealing with all people fairly and honestly both personally and professionally. He was proud of his Kentucky roots and disproved the 'hillbilly' ribbing that came along with it.

He excelled in basketball while attending High School in Indiana and later with Church and community teams in both Mississippi and California.

He served in the Air Force and enjoyed the Japanese culture that it allowed him to experience. He was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, boating, hunting and fishing. He was truly most at peace when surrounded by nature. Though no longer with us, you have truly changed this world by extending your hand and touching those in your reach with a compassion so rare among men.

He is survived by his wife Becky, his sons; Rick and Jamie, stepsons; Brian and Kenny, stepdaughter Yvonne, brothers; Richard (Peggy), Jerry (Joan), Jim (Ginger), Phil (Jerry), Tom (Jule), sisters; Helen, Imalee (Bill) Ent, Marlene (Bud) McDonald, Liz Cunningham, 8 nephews and 10 nieces.

He is preceded in death by his adored parents Charlie and Mae Wilson, sister Barb, 1 nephew and 1 niece.
