William E. Ringer, 77, born July 3, 1924, died October 3, 2001. Bill was a WWII Veteran and retired from Westinghouse at the early age of 59. He spent 18 years volunteering with the St. Vincent De Paul Society. His hobbies included bowling and traveling to Mexico to do mission work for the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kay; his children, Kevin, Mark, and Leslie; and grandchildren, Matthew and Megan. Visitation was held Sunday, October 7, 2001 with Scripture Service at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Funeral Mass Monday, October 8, 2001 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave., Phoenix. Interment at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix. Family suggests donations to: St. Vincent De Paul Society, P.O. Box 13600, Phoenix, AZ 85002. The Arizona Republic October 7, 2001. |
