| Arizona Daily Sun Flagstaff, Arizona Friday, October 09, 2009 Sarah Elizabeth Smith, 102, formerly of Flagstaff, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Greeley County Medical Center in Tribune, Kan. She was born Sept. 24, 1907, in Butler, Mo., the daughter of Arthur P. and May Brock Geneva. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kan., and the Order of the Eastern Star in Wellington, Kan. On May 15, 1926, she was married to Raymond Andrew "Ted" Smith at Iola, Kan. He died on Feb. 28, 1988, in Tribune. Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Jerry Smith (Ellie) of Tribune; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Richard G. Smith and Donald M. Smith; one brother; and three sisters. A memorial services was held Oct. 1 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, with the Rev. Charles Ayers officiating. Interment is in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kan. Memorials may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kan.
