Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Tuesday, September 15, 2009 Alma Touchin, 101, of Coppermine, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Touchin was born in Red Lake on Nov. 10, 1907, to Keith Lane and Ateed Nit'lah. She married Kenneth Touchin on April 26, 1925, and they were sealed in the St. George LDS Temple in July of 1981. Mrs. Touchin was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and shared it with her children and grandchildren. She loved her home and the beautiful surroundings of the Coppermine area. She was a wonderful homemaker and housekeeper, an exceptional cook and an awesome grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandmother. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Mrs. Touchin is survived by her children, John, Rex, Sue, Patty, Ilene, James, Charlie, Leona, Pricilla, Kenny, Julius and Jeannie; 69 grandchildren; 160 great-grandchildren; 81 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary and son David. Her family wishes to thank all the many people who took loving care of Mrs. Touchin, with special thanks to Dr. Bunch and his staff and also to home nurses Linda Pineda and Michelle Carter, who came and checked on her weekly. They also wish to thank the family and friends who came to visit and made Mrs. Touchin's days brighter. Funeral services will be Friday, at 10 a.m. MST (AZ time) in the Page LDS 4th Ward Chapel on Lake Powell Blvd., in Page, where friends and family may pay their respects from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow in the Page Cemetery.
