Patricia (Finnegan) Bateman

Patricia Bateman, 85, died on Monday, Sept. 22, 2009, in Albuquerque, N.M.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bateman; brothers, Robert Finnegan and George Finnegan; and sisters, Frances Finnegan, Mary Jane Clark and Arlie Mae Plichta.

Survivors include loving children, son Peter Bateman and wife, Diana, of Albuquerque; and their children, Dina Kline, Sarah Johnson, Jennifer Myers and Daniel Martinez; son Dean Bateman of Atascadero, Calif.; daughter Deborah Bateman of Albuquerque and her daughter Michaela Bateman; brother Donald Finnegan; and sisters, Dorothy Smolen, Jeanne Camden and Elaine Rogers.

Patricia was born on Oct. 15, 1923, in Washburn, Wis., moved to Downers Grove, Ill. in 1931, and married Ralph Bateman there in 1947. Patricia was a member of the Downers Grove Woman's Club and the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago. Ralph and Patricia retired to Prescott, Ariz. in 1985. In 2004, they relocated to Albuquerque, N.M. to be close to family members.

Memorial service was Thursday, Sept. 24 at Reflections Funerals and Life Celebrations, 2400 Washington St. NE, Albuquerque, N.M. 87110.
