The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, October 03, 2009 Paul G. Denney Jr., 79, of Chino Valley, Ariz., passed away Monday, Sept.28, 2009, in Phoenix, Ariz. A hard-working, straightforward, practical man who loved his "place," he was born in Phoenix Feb. 25, 1930, and raised in Tucson, Ariz. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, sons, Paul III, Lance and Alan "Dobby," daughter Kathy, daughters-in-law Shirley and Donna, stepson Westley, stepdaughters Deborah, Tina and Richie, brothers-in-law Willis and Charles Crider, sister-in-law Amy Kersten, 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Paul worked with numerous companies, including Reliable Trucking, Better Build Aluminum and APS, and was also an independent truck driver. His love for his dogs Molly and Raceland will always be remembered. He was also a former member of the Elks and Smoki. No funeral or memorial services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held in Chino Valley, Ariz., on Saturday, Oct. 10, between 12 and 2 p.m. Information provided by survivors. |
