Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Thursday, October 01, 2009 Harlon Connley King, 61, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009. Mr. Connley was born Sept. 28, 1947, in Dumas, Ark., to Henry and Mary King. He lived in Ash Fork with his wife, Jackie J. King. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He will be remembered for his boisterous attitude, his hard shell and his soft soul. He loved his family with all he had and would give them the shirt off his back if needed. Mr. King is survived by his sons, Randy Craig King of Lexington, Okla., and Shawn Michael Hollister of Ash Fork; one grandson; and his sister, Judy Napierolski of El Cajon, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family requests that memorial donations be made to POWnetwork.org, the Disabled American Veterans, or the Vietnam Veterans of America. He was cremated Aug. 18 at Aspen Cremation in Flagstaff. No services were held. |
