Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Wednesday, September 23, 2009 Robert Ware, Sr., also known as the "Boarhog," was born June 16, 1925, in Louisiana and died Sept. 21, 2009, at age 84. Mr. Ware moved his family from Louisiana to Flagstaff in 1955. He worked for Southwest Forest Industries for 35 years and then retired. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting and listening to the blues. But most of all he enjoyed his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be missed greatly by his family and everyone who knew him. Mr. Ware is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lelia Ware; his children Robert Jr., Donnell, Murphy (Carmen), William (June), Linda, Terry, and David, all of Flagstaff, and Vernette Ware of Avondale; 38 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren. A visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m., both at Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff.
