Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Sunday, September 06, 2009 Sonya J. Moore, 75, died July 11, 2009, in Citrus Heights, Calif. She and her husband lived 43 years in Flagstaff. Mrs. Moore was born in Pilot Grove, Mo., on March 6, 1934. She was married to Charles G. Moore of Lynn, Mo., in 1957. They moved to Flagstaff in 1963, where she began her career in public health nursing, from which she retired in 1994. In 2006, Mr. and Mrs. Moore moved to Tucson due to health reasons. After her husband died in 2007, Mrs. Moore moved to California. She was a loving mother with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, music, gardening, hiking and was a member of the Federated Community Church. She will be missed. Mrs. Moore is survived by sons Bruce, Brett and Brad; and nine grandchildren. |
