Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Saturday, September 05, 2009 Catherine Marie (Heinritz) Hart, 55, of Flagstaff, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009. She was born June 21, 1954, in Lansing, Mich. to Doris and Robert Heinritz. She had a compassionate soul and will be missed by all for her sense of humor and her open and gracious heart. While a working single mother, she graduated magma cum laude from the University of South Florida with a bachelor's degree in early education. Throughout her professional career, she was a champion for the less fortunate. She was a true humanitarian whose life's calling was helping others. Her family and many others will forever be touched and changed for the better by her never-ending warmth. Her children are inspired their our mother's strong sense of morality, equality and, above all, compassion, and will continue to be inspired. The family thanks the many people who gave continuous support to Catherine, with a special thanks to co-workers and to Gayle. She is survived by her father, Robert; sisters Patricia and Virginia; brothers Robert and James; sons Paul Michael Coleman of Flushing, Mich., and Joseph Gilmartin of Flagstaff; and daughter Emerald Louise Heinritz of Ft. Myers, Fla. She was preceded in death by her son, "Bobby," and her mother. In lieu of flowers, written condolences to the family may be sent to 225 E. Camille Drive, Flagstaff, AZ, 86001. A ceremony will be in Alva, Fla. The date is yet to be decided. Norvel Owens Mortuary is handling arrangements. |
