Noah Masursky

Noah Masursky, 34, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at his home in Tucson from complications associated with Type 1 diabetes.

Mr. Masursky was born Feb. 13, 1975, in Flagstaff. He was a photography student at Pima Community College, and he received the Louis Bernal Scholarship Award for photo essay (diabetes self portrait). He is survived by mother Jean Anne Martin and stepfather Jerry Martin; sisters Lisa and Danielle Masursky; and brother Leo Masursky.

Mr. Masursky was preceded in death by his father, Harold Masursky.

There will be private services to scatter his remains. Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org .
