Miner’s Death Held Suicide

Bob Storns, Justice of the Peace and coroner, announced Saturday John G. Soderman, 60 one-time employee of the famous mine, whose body was found near Tubb Springs, eight miles north of Morristown, died as the result of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Discovery of the body was made by Roy James and William Hall, Morristown residents, who were hunting.
