| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Az. April 28, 1961 Rites in Phoenix For Avery York Funeral services for Avery C. York, 64-year-old resident of Yarnell, were held Monday afternoon in Phoenix with burial in Greenwood Park there. Mr. York, who was in the flagston business, died Thursday of last week in the Veterans Hospital in Phoenix. Born in Galex, Va., Mr. York came to Arizona in 1927 and had lived in Yarnell for the past 30 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War I. Surviving are the widow, Margaret, and a daughter, Barbara Ann, Both of Yarnell. |
