The Daily Courier, Prescott, AZ Tuesday, October 11, 2005 William “Duffy” Anthony, age 62, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005. Duffy was born April 17, 1943, in Seattle, Wash., to William and Chrystal Anthony. Duffy worked in the auto collision repair service for most of his career. He owned and operated ABC CARSTAR Body & Frame for the last 17 years, here in the Prescott area. He loved fixing cars and helping all of his customers through their hard times. Duffy will be remembered as a man who did much for his community and gave so much of himself to the people around him. He lived life to the fullest with love, laughter, kindness and forgiveness. He was a loving husband, an amazing father, grandfather, and a wonderful brother and good friend to many. He will be missed, never forgotten and always loved. He is survived by his wife, Marcine Anthony; daughters, Annette, Rebecca and Jodi; sons, Michael and Mark; sisters, Barbara Staley and Bonnie Anthony; and 17 grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, from 5 to 7 p.m., at St. Catherine’s Laboure Catholic Church in Chino Valley. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at St. Catherine’s Laboure Catholic Church. Burial will take place at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Phoenix. The family is being cared for by Chino Valley Funeral Home. (Information provided by survivors.)
