| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona January 31, 2007 Lloyd Hunter, born August 24, 1919, passed away January 21, 2007. Lloyd went to join his wife Katherine on January 21, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by daughter Linda Carol Grissom of Arizona and Connie J. Pennington of Ohio, five grandchildren, Barry L. Grissom, Theresa A. Young, Christopher Pennington, Daniel Pennington and Brian Pennington and six great grandchildren, Amanda Young, Austin Young, David Grissom, Kailey Young, Hawley Young and Elizabeth Grissom. Lloyd retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and was a World War II veteran serving in the Army. He loved to hunt, adored animals, especially dogs and was devoted to his family. He will be missed. A memorial Service was held Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the Allen Funeral Home, 1130 S. Horne, Mesa, Arizona 85204. |
