West Valley View, March 29, 2005 Homer Loyd Beaver, 75, of Buckeye died March 22, 2005. Mr. Beaver was born July 25, 1929, in Chickasha, Okla. He and his family moved to Arizona in the early 1950s. He worked for the city of Phoenix and later started a hog farm, which he relocated to Rainbow Valley in 1967. Mr. Beaver had been a member of the Scottsdale Masons since 1965, and a member of the Rainbow Valley Volunteer Fire Department since the early 1970s. Mr. Beaver is survived by his wife, Carol; one daughter, Arbell Rose; one son, Robert Beaver; one sister, Jewell Jantz; two brothers, Howard and Paul Beaver; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. March 28 at Grace Fellowship Church, 1300 N. Miller Road in Buckeye. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. March 29 at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Park, 18090 W. Broadway Road in Buckeye. Memorials may be sent in Mr. Beaver's name to Bank One to help the family with his medical bills, or to the American Cancer Society, 12211 W. Bell Road, Surprise, AZ 85374.
