Frederick R. (Fred) Riedel

Frederick R. Riedel, of Dewey, Ariz., formerly of Brookfield and Coloma, Wis., passed away Wednesday, May 3,2006.

Fred served as a 2nd Lieutenant with the 446th Bombardier Group in WWII. He was a POW during part of his service.

Fred graduated from Purdue University as an electrical engineer. He
retired from AC Electronics.

For many years after that, he and his wife, Arlyne, owned and operated Coloma Camperland in Coloma, Wis.

They commuted between Wisconsin and Arizona for 15 years and were finally able to fully retire to Dewey in 1993. Fred was active in his church.

He is survived by his wife; Arlyne; children, Nancy Guitguiten and Donna Lentzf; grandchildren, Curt and Eric Lentz and Carien Guitguiten; brother, Herbert and sister, June Bliese.

Services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church on Friday, May 5, 2006, at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to Ex-POW's or V.F.W.

Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
