Leo Bruce Jackowick

Leo Bruce Jackowick was born on Jan. 23, 1935, in Madison, Wis. He grew up on a farm in the small town of Rice Lake. He then moved to California, becoming a painter and a painting contractor, a profession he continued his entire life until he retired at age 55. He died Thursday, July 30, 2009, in Kingman. He had lived in both Kingman and Golden Valley since 1991. He was 74.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma; second wife, Verna; brothers, Leon and Harold; mother, Salome; and father, Percy. He is survived by his third wife, Patricia; brother, Gerald; sister, Patricia Faulk; daughter, Laura; son-in-law, Steve; two granddaughters, Kimberly and Mary; aunt, Lucille; and uncle, Harold.

Leo was a beloved husband, brother and father, and had many friends. He enjoyed helping anyone who needed it. He loved both his family at home and his church family. He was always quick with a smile and a joke. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please join us for the memorial service that will held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Kingman Presbyterian Church, 2425 Detroit Ave.

Donations may be given to the church in memory of Leo.
