| The Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, Arizona Friday, August 21, 2009 Violet was born March 2, 1937, in Rock Island, Texas, to Robert and Vina Shoop. She passed away on Aug. 9, 2009, in Kingman. Her passion was gardening. She had an amazingly green thumb when it came to growing herbs, fruits and vegetables. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Robert 'Bob' Richard of Kingman; three daughters and two sons, Debbie Clark of Heber, Ariz., Carolyn (Craig) Thompson of Dolan Springs, Lisa Oscar of Kingman, Robert (Ronda) Oscar of Dolan Springs and Joseph Smith of Kingman. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters. We loved you very much, Mom, and you will be missed by all of your family and friends. Cremation will be handled by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Internment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Kingman. |
