After a long illness, Dawn Frances Reuter, 67, entered into eternity on Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, at KRMC in Kingman. Dawn was born Dawn Frances Bloom on Nov. 22, 1941, in Los Angeles. She graduated from Montebello High School, Montebello, Calif., in 1959. Dawn resided in Bullhead City from 1974 to 1991 and in Kingman from 1991 to present.

Dawn was preceded in death by her first husband, El Roye Bridges of Bullhead City in 1985, and her second husband, James Reuter of Kingman in 2001, her sister, Leilani Bartell of Gardena, Calif., and nephew, Derrick Jefferson, 17, of Centerton, Ark.

Dawn is survived by her dear friend, Barry Hammond; her twin sister, Penny Blaha of Kingman; and her sisters, Ruth Jefferson of Kingman, Mary Ellen Horn of Rapid City, S.D., and Lorraine Hill of Escondido, Calif. Her sons, Michael Bridges of La Puente, Calif., and Patrick Bridges of Kingman; and her daughter, Kathy Dunn of Clarksville, Tenn., also survive Dawn. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and their offspring.

Dawn was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose in Bullhead City and held various jobs in Bullhead from selling Avon Products, working for the casinos, and finally, working for and retiring from Citizens Utilities in 1986. After Dawn became a resident of Kingman, she worked for the Palo Christi Elementary School from 1993 until her retirement in June 2004. Dawn loved the children who affectionately referred to her as 'Miss Dawn.'

Dawn was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, sister and friend. Her life revolved around her family and she loved the holidays when everyone would gather together. She especially loved the summers with her grandkids, and delighted in picnics, air shows, fairs and gardening. We will all miss this lovely and gracious woman who gave so much of herself to everyone.

Funeral services are not scheduled at this time. A gathering of family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
