The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 18, 2006 Virginia Gail Carpenter of Chino Valley, Ariz., born Dec. 5, 1925, in Rosebud, Ill., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2006. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2006, at Bunkers Garden Chapel in Mesa, Ariz. Burial is at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Earcel and Ruth Krueger; and her husband, Deeme Carpenter. She has two sisters, Bonnie Lukes and Dixie Gurrola. Virginia was the beloved mother of Wayne Henson of Chino Valley; and Beverly Marple and husband Allen of Wasilla, Alaska; the loving grandmother of Matthew Marple and wife Eva and children; and of Eve Brueggeman, husband Michael and children, Brian Henson, and Sally Boyott and husband Jamie and children. Virginia was always an encourager, sweet spirited, yet spunky lady and stood up for those she loved. She was proud to have raised her children to be firm believers in Jesus Christ with a faith to be passed on to their children and grandchildren. A memorial gathering of friends and family will be at the home place, Sunday, May 21, 2006,at 2 p.m. Information provided by survivors. |
