The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, April 11, 2006 Jerry M. Greene died April 7, 2006, in Prescott, Arizona. He was born December 13, 1927, in Hollywood, California. He played football while attending Inglewood High School and again at San Jose State College, and was an avid tennis player throughout his life. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Long Beach State College in California. Jerry served in the United States Army at Fort Lewis, Washington, during the Korean Conflict. He worked for 20 years in the printing business, then taught printing and graphic arts for another 20 years in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He was a long-time member of several professional printing organizations. Since shortly after his and his wife's retirement to Prescott, he had been an active volunteer with the Prescott Police Department. Jerry married his wife, Pat, in 1949. They had three sons, one of whom, Kent, died in 1993. He is survived by his wife, Pat; two sons, Mark and Chris; two granddaughters, Amanda and Brittany and his brother, Paul. Jerry was a loving husband and father. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. There will be a gathering of friends and family members at the family home on Saturday, April 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. Information provided by survivors. |
