Hazel M. (Whyte) Moser - Bond

Hazel M. Bond, 91, died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Peoria on April 30, 2006. She was born Feb. 28,1915, in Ashland, Pa., and came to Arizona in 1952.

She had been an administrative secretary at Honeywell until her retirement in 1973.

She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Wheaton, Judith Schmidt and Lori Acklin; sons-in-law, Gerald Schmidt and Gary Acklin; sisters, Helen Blakely and Bette Wegener; brother, Thomas Whyne; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Hazel will be fondly remembered by friends and family as the "Ukulele Lady" She loved traveling with her girls and spending time at her cabin in Prescott.

She was preceded in death by husbands Albert Moser and James Bond; sev-
eral brothers, sisters and one grandson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memorial Fund of Horizon Community Church.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m. at Horizon Community Church, 14120 N. 79th Ave., Peoria, Ariz.
