The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, May 7, 2006 William A. Fotherby, age 70, died April 30, 2006, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born Oct. 10,1935, in Detroit, Mich., to William and E. Lucille (Makibben) Fotherby. Bill worked as a truck driver. He served as past Commander of the American Legion Post #1979 in Illinois and the past Governor of the Moose Lodge # 319. Bill will be remembered for his dry sense of humor. He passed at his home with his wife Margaret and his friends, the Swopes, at his side and a saga has ended. He leaves behind his adoring wife and soul mate and leaves her in God's hands knowing He will take care of her now. Bill is survived by his wife, Margaret; his sons, Earl and Henry (Roxanne); his daughter Margee (Mark); and his grandchildren, Amber Ann, Sean, Doniven and Jadyn. Commemoration services in honor of Bill will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz., with Pastor Tim Blau officiating.
