Albert Glen Griswold

Albert Glen Griswold, age 70, died May 7, 2006, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born Oct. 19, 1935, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Merle and Margaret (Hackwell) Griswold.

Glen is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Curtis and his wife, Katrina, of Prescott Valley; son, Albert, of Electra, Texas; and his beloved grandson, Jonathan.

Glen proudly served his country in the U. S. Army.

He retired from the Telephone Company in 1993 and moved to Arizona where he continued to be active in local gun clubs. He was a lifetime member of the NRA for more than 40 years.

Glen loved the sport of hunting and has passed the love of that sport on to his son, Curtis and to his grandson, Jonathan.

Glen was and is a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a caring and helpful friend.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley, Ariz., on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, from 5 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prescott, Ariz., at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2006.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Glen to be made to any local hospice care.
