The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 10, 2006 Rose Arredondo, 87, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Meadow Park Care Center in Prescott. She was born March 1, 1919, in Jerome, Ariz., the daughter of Pablo and Natividad (Covrera) Alanis. Rose had a passion for crocheting and working with her houseplants. She was proud of her family and friends. Rose is survived by her children and their spouses, Jessie Flores, Juan Flores, Angel Flores, Philip and Glenda Flores all of Prescott, and Rose Mary and David Pittman at Silverdale, Wash. She is also survived by a sister, Pola Lucero of Prescott; grandchildren, Johnny (Claudia), Art (Casey), Margaret, Isabel, Alicia, Marcos, Lena, Rita, Michael, William, Nicholas and Michael; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Rose was predeceased by her husband Pete Arredondo; her first husband Juan Flores; and two brothers and sister-in-law, Eugene and Francis Alanis and Harry Alanis. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, May 12, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton streets in Prescott. Graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
