Perry, Jr. Wheat

Perry Wheat Jr., 71, resident of Phoenix, went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2003. He was born in Little Rock, AR on April 16, 1932.

Perry served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Princeton in Korea. He retired from Allied Signal in May of 1996 after more than 40 years of service.

Perry was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean. He is survived by his wife Colleen, sons Paul D. (Renell), Michael G. (Nellie), Scott E. (Katie), mother Myrtle Olson, sister Evelyn, brother Alvin, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Fri., May 16th, 2003. Services on Sat., May 17th at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave. Family request donations may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 8977 W. Athens, Phoenix, AZ 85379. Published in the Arizona Republic from 5/16/2003 - 5/17/2003.
