Marjorie (Margie) Webb, 67, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away March 7, 2004. Born in Kentucky, she was the second youngest of 9 children. Margie moved with her family to Ohio, which she called home till she moved to Phoenix in 1971. While here in Phoenix Margie had several occupations, from Administrative Assistant to business owner yet she was most proud of being a Mother, especially a Grandmother. She is survived by her beloved son Bill Allen, his wife Traci, her true joys in life, her 2 grandchildren Jacqueline and Jacob; brother Luther Webb and his wife Rose, their son Duane and his wife Debbie and his family; brother Henry Webb, his sons Jim and Tracy; niece Bobbie Altamirano, husband Conrad, daughters Amanda and Cassandra; nephews Luther Philpot and Frank Benge, all residing in AZ. In keeping with the tradition of having an extended family, Marge also held dear to her heart "other sons" Craig Alspach and Bob Stout and their families and a special place for long time neighbors Rick and Ardie Magallanes, their children Sal, Betty, Rick Jr., Nano, Mike and their families. The extended family of survivors includes cousins, nieces and nephews in Florida, Ohio and Indiana; George and Gretchen Anderson, their daughter Whitney; Robert Earl Anderson and family; Carol and Linda Anderson; Frida Durham and family; Shirley Long and family; Steve Webb and family; Janet Partin and family; Sally Webb and family; Otis Philpot and family. Services were held Saturday, March 13, 2004, at the West Congregational Church, 4650 W. Thomas, Phx, AZ. Published in the Arizona Republic on 3/11/2004.
