| West Valley View March 18, 2005 Frank Ernest Smith Frank Ernest "Pop" Smith, 67, of Glendale and formerly of Avondale, died March 8, 2005. An Air Force veteran, Mr. Smith was an aircraft mechanic and a master carpenter. He also was an avid painter and artist. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Norma; one daughter, Tammy Coulston of Avondale; three sons, Mitchell, Jeff and David, of Avondale; four sisters, Dorothy Froscone, Shirley Bannond, Marion Patterson and Shirley Dempsey; one brother, George; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A service will be held at 11 a.m. March 21 at Best Funeral Chapel, 501 E. Dunlap Ave. in Phoenix. Interment with full military honors will follow at 1 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Cave Creek and Pinnacle Peak roads in Phoenix. Adobe Chapel Funeral Home made the arrangements.
