The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 10/27/2009 Desbah Lou "Buzz" Yellowhair, 45, of Snowflake passed from this life on Oct. 15, 2009, in Mesa. Desbah was born to Robert Yellowhair Sr. and Louise Mae Jinnity Yellowhair on Jan. 7, 1964, in Los Angeles, Calif. The family moved to Arizona where she had lived for 45 years, graduating from Snowflake High School in the class of 1982. She attended Navajo Community College for two years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Desbah was an accomplished silversmith and had many interests in her life, including dart throwing, pool, writing and reading, and she loved watching football. As a youth she enjoyed basketball and horseback riding. She is survived by her parents, Robert Jr. and Louise Mae Yellowhair of Snowflake; her grandmother, Phoebe Yellowhair of Indian Wells; five brothers, Carl, Johnny, Loren and Robert Jr. Yellowhair and Uriah Washington, all of the Snowflake area; two sisters, Carol Yellowhair and Tina Taylor of Snowflake; as well as nine nephews, eight nieces, one grand-nephew and three grand-nieces. Was preceded in death by grandfather, Peter Yellowhair. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at the Temple View Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. Interment was at the Mike Ramsey Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. Arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor.
